Unable to play with friends

So yeah, I'm trying to play on the NA/UK region thingy but I'm not from there.

I did the following:

- Installed the NA/UK version of the game
- Made an account on the NA/UK version of the game

But when I log in it says the service is not available in your region...

I thought the whole reason between NA/UK - EUROPE is that some countries can't play in the EUROPE version of the game... But that's not the problem.. It's the other way around.

I'm from the EUROPE region that wants to play in the NA/UK region, isn't that possible then? (even thought I did all the NA/UK steps to do so)

Because Gamerage (the company that hosts CF EU) has the licenses for most of Europe, inhabitants of said regions are incapable of joining any of the other CF versions. So no, you won't be able to play on the NA/UK version.

If your friends are from Europe as well (apart from the UK, I guess), they can join you in CF EU. If they're from regions with an own version, such as the USA or China, they won't be able to play CF EU.

So even thought my pals from the UK are pretty much my neighbours (I'm from The Netherlands), I won't be able to play with them at all?

That's just sad.

Guess I'll just uninstall.

Indeed. Z8 has the license for the UK, Gamerage has the license for The Netherlands. So you can't play in this version and they can't play in your version.
