Why can't you minimize CF without error code?

For starters, its not just me with this problem, my friend also has this problem.
When you are in a Crossfire match and you want to minimize, as soon as you do I get a crossfire error code and have to restart Crossfire, this is made my reputation go to Bad, which sucks.
