pings ! plz hlp me out

kk thx for reading, here is my problem, my pings use to be like 229, but today it turn to 359, i exit cf and turn of my computer and it's still the same.
i can't even play properly with my pings, so what happend and what should i do.

could be that your playing at peak times which causes higher pings i've found and it could be down to whether your using wireless or wired internet

Maybe you have other programs running that might affect it like Limewire for me sometimes or even AIM ><.

My ping is usually 102-105, but one time it rised to 500 or something...
Close all your other programs that use CPU, internet etc.

Heres what you could do to fix that. Game Booster!!!! It closes all the unnecessary programs for you. Leaves some open that aren't needed but if you don't know what your doing just let gamebooster work it's magic.

If this don't work. Turn off you PC and unplug all the wires from your modem for 1 min. just to be sure. Plug your modem back up and cut on your PC. This should fix it if the above didn't.
There may be peak moments that may cause some jumps but I've experienced none.

*NOTE The most important thing to unplug is the PHONE line and POWER line running to your modem.
