LeftSyndrome had that EgoSyndrome struck back at him, talking trash bout our team. Saw those SS's anyway.
Average player. -
Did you enjoy the tournament?
Yes I did enjoy this tournament. It was refreshing, all though I just came back from retirement, and a broken laptop a week before tournament started basically.
What was your experience playing in the tournament (was it fun/bad/eh)?
It was fun and exciting, when we clutched 7-1 GR vs EG, I was very thrilled with our performance. We all pulled through together and stayed focus, which was winning.
How did OCG do? Did we host a good tournament?
OCG did a good job, there was some slight mistakes with weapons selections which made it highly unbalanced. Should have been consisted of more gp based guns instead of zp.
Would you like to see another GM Tournament?
I love to see another tournament, I have fallen short in every tournament I have entered just shy of a finals win.
Did you enjoy the livestream throughout the weekend?
It was entertaining live stream, the quality was decent. The commentary was good as well.
Were the prizes good/bad/awesome, etc?
The prizes made this tournament worth it. Hopefully next time even bigger prizes and more.
What can we do better or something you would like to see?
Take actions on rulings being supplied to the public and strictly and preferably easy to view and know/understand. Don't try to make it confusing. Expand with the use of substitutions, more player selected map pool rotation, rather than a random one.
How was the Anticheat/ClientX was it lagging you the whole match, was it perfect? Let us know
It was making me lag during 3rd rounds, for 2 rounds in that match. And then again semi finals 2-3 rounds worth. And finally really impacted my game performance during finals was heavily lagging the whole match. At 4th-5th rounds I spiked to 2.5K ping and jumped down to 500 ping out of nowhere. I had an issue with the c4, it was bugged when planted and made that beeping noise whole time, really made it hard for me to PP whole game. (5 rounds worth of c4 bug)
Any other comments:
I wanna say to all teams that entered, thank you for the performances. This is what brings the GM Community all together. I wanna say personal shout outs to teams, Evil Glory, Inflicted (I'd probably be there still if not broken laptop 2 months ago), retiredGM, Contagion.
Now I want to speak of on my personal performances through out the tournament, I was at times performing very well playing the fragger and covering role. At other times the main defuser and bait. I'm happy with what I did on such a short time playing GM after I fixed my laptop, I did better than what I had expected. But I know for a fact, if I had been able to prepare for another week or two, I'd be able to get my form and "skills" back. So next tourney let us have even more time.
I wanna speak on my team mates performances, I love you guys. BL team: Eddy I will always say you're the best bl I have seen since phong back in 09. (PEOPLE HE HAS 180-220 PING CONSISTENTLY and bhops that greatly) Oz u know you mah nab, you should always be confident with your hop, its friggin epic dude. You've been a great c4 planter. Fer u know u mah nikka bruhh, we both got that epic tank. Don't let yourself down, you performed epicly dude. Muddy, you will always be in my opinion, best gmer from 2012-2013 that I have seen. (Some others too not gonna mention them right now), you and me have been on same tournament team for 3-4 times now. We have that instant chemistry. And last but not least for BL team, JudgeSims you showed the crowd why you possibly the greatest gmer to have touched this game, if not the very best. Staying consistent for 4 years now on this mode. Its crazy if u think about it bro. You are def mvp for most of our games. Doing work on bl and gr. Bl team you guys did a really great job, and you guys are better as people. Humble and respectful, and honorable.
Let me speak on my teams GR side now. First, Piero you did an amazing job doing most of our practice games strats and all that stuff. You have great leadership skills bro. Sugoi are possibly the mvp of our gr team. Really performed out there, made amazing plays round after rounds. Daggy you showed even tho we were rusty from retirement, we have the experience from playing this game for so long. The skills just come to us naturally. You did great bro, drink to that. And lastly Judge once again, proved why he is one of the best gmers since beta days. Performing well on bl, and then right off to gr he performs well. Pleasure playing with you guys, I had an amazing experience. Great teammates and friends, better people.
Now I wanna speak on the finals a bit, I was really impressed on how great Alex did on gr side, he went huge. Props to u man, good job. And I wanna say, I was disappointed with chings attitude its so damn crap, taking whatever way to win. Instead just using his skills to show it. He was once proclaimed best gmer on motg tournament. I didn't see those monster stats this tourney, but I'm not gonna say anymore on that. So don't even reply to me about that sht. I respect mawz, and alex for being humble competitors. -

Yeah he does trash talk a lot but he still is an above average player. I'd have like to seen EG's s5 or better yet the revelation s5 play against etherion's s5 in lab with GP ruleset. -
I'd like to see that too, cause I feel I didn't get to do much on hakencruz.FrozenPizza wrote: »Yeah he does trash talk a lot but he still is an above average player. I'd have like to seen EG's s5 or better yet the revelation s5 play against etherion's s5 in lab with GP ruleset. -

LMAO. Revelation S5 with Theytried is like. A very very balanced team. -

I understand your point. For that matter, our S5 in top form would be deadly, and we have a lot of former NwG (the best GM ever assembled imho) that didn't partake in that tourney. Goes both ways my friend! I was the only former regular with Judge, and maybe we didn't trashed old Panthers like the logic would have showed, I'm still proud of Etherion participants, they did awesome given the opposition!
To be completely honest, LeftSyndrome and his clan's supposed greatness is more of a result of great GMers moving on than simply them being supreme.
At least, if you wanna talk trash over and over, measure up against the best, and they got beaten by the retired greats. -

Uranus was the greatest of all time. We had god on our side. hue. -

So much clearer than I always stated. Maybe they'll actually process that message with their tiny brains. Just maybe. -
This will be the last thing I will point out, if you had any other reason on why you had to bash on ching openly on the forums other than by his actions earlier tonight, you should've just kept it to yourself or discussed it with him privately. Andre has received more trashtalk than anyone on our team and has yet to say anything. Germans op.
But big thanks to multiii, I highly enjoyed our match and was impressed on how much you improved since you started playing again. I really want to see this old multiii that you talk about. ;p Snake/sugoi op on Gr. I knew from studying him a little bit he'd be a tough one, and go figure he gets mvp as gr. Posts like multiii and the messages I received from other players privately were what I expected most people to do. -

Forum bash someone who doesn't forum is logic bro. -
I dont know why they are bashing. As far as im concerned deduction or not retiredGM still would have won.
Yea, we played the game as if we needed to win 5 rounds anyways. We didn't fool around like we did with LoB and Inflicted after we won the rounds we needed.
Seeing as the active forumer of the team, I apologized for us. Whether or not Ching does or not is an individual decision for a problem that is between them and not the teams.
I'm willing to put all this behind if Dag would simply apologize.. -

Assuming Ching would even read private messages. Give me a break, you don't know him too well, do you? He claims to be Buddhist but follows none of their precepts. It's like assuming you're not mexican, won't work there bro.
He behave like the egoistical kid he always will be, period. -

I actually think our most enjoyable match came against you guys! I genuinely thought we were done, but our GR came out big. It was one game for the ages, I'm telling you.
I still remember Z whispering us, telling us we had to find some way to make it happen.
We did and it was really exciting, I don't remember being so focused for one match lol!
Our match against Etherion was our first notable match, so it was also our more enjoyable.Honestly out of the tournaments i've had, this was the worst probably. Lagged hard on 3 out of 5 matches. Even on that semifinal, when i didn't lag, i wasn't able to do so much either. Our team wasn't prepared either. We couldn't practice a single time together to work on teamwork, or anything like that. Both team were pretty much on the same situation. Still, it was the best match for us in the tournament imo, and hopefully we'll meet again in another one. MAYBE in 2 years, if this game is still alive, when I MIGHT move to US, i'll be able to compete on the same level I do on CFLA.
Yeah, I know. I saw was Dag said and that's why I even responded. Wasn't saying it was unfair that we were unprepared, just unfortunate. I didn't have my eye on the prize coming into the tourny, I just wanted to have fun and epic games. I feel like if we had been prepared, the game would've been more excited to watch.LeftSyndrome had that EgoSyndrome struck back at him, talking trash bout our team. Saw those SS's anyway.

I have to disagree. Josh gets mad easily and likes to talk sometimes, but he is still a great player on both sides. -

I would simply apologize to you because you mean no harm and simply have to defend what is outrageous. I've got no quarrel with you, Alex, just don't come between me and one of the most hated GMer ever. He did it again! Right in front of you!
I would have never appealed for a DQ, heck we were confronted with a DQ against GM4LYF for not fielding their S5 in our quarterfinals, we chose to wait until Sunday to give them a chance, cuz a DQ is despicable, always give the opponent a chance to fight to their last breath. -

Most of us didn't care about the prize actually. Knowing this GM community, i think i can say that we all played to have fun, cause it's GM, the mode we like so much, and it's a tournament. Hopefully next time we'll have more time to prepare everything, so the matches themselves can be more exciting. -

I'm privately discussing this matter with Z. I don't know about him but I think we're on understandable pages. I know how Viets are, I played GM with viets for the most part... and the one who taught me the most was the one who made me disappointed the most because he has the same mindset as Ching but not so openly about it.I would simply apologize to you because you mean no harm and simply have to defend what is outrageous. I've got no quarrel with you, Alex, just don't come between me and one of the most hated GMer ever. He did it again! Right in front of you!

Your was perfectly acceptable.Never bashed on Ching, still respect him for what he was. Just made a clear view on what I thought at the time, and still do perhaps. It's my opinion.
