Something has GOT to be done about the hacking in this game. Tired of this crap
I've been playing this game for a couple of years now and it really irks me that after all this time the developers have still not managed to put an end to the rampant hacking going on. I can understand if a few people slip through the cracks every now and then, but just tonite I'm in rooms where multiple players on both sides are blatantly hacking.
This is downright unacceptable, it's time to implement some changes that work. For starters make some changes to the vote system. If I try to kick out a player who hacks, why on Earth would the people who don't vote factor in the process. If a person does'nt vote it should'nt count, but the way the system is now a person who doesnt vote is technically counted as against kicking out a player. That needs to change.
Also I'm curious how is it possible for so many hacks to get through immediately after an update. It's like someone on the dev team is releasing either the code or a way to circumvent it. Bottom line is the developers of this game run a loose ship. After a few years of running this game you would think they should have some better security measures.

1. New server for higher ranking players
2. Revise vote system (non voters should'nt have any bearing on the vote at hand)
3. More GMs or long time players with elevated rights
4. Logic filters (if a brand new player comes in the game with 20-30 kills in less than 2 minutes obviously something is suspicious)
5. Permanent IP and MAC address bans
6. Offer incentives to players to report hackers (otherwise some players won't report them or even vote then out of matches)
Please mods or whoever reads this post, don't just ignore it. Communicate with the players of this game so we can put this hacker issue to rest. -

lol are you serious or trolling? if someone is good in FPS games,started playing CF yesterday and its good in it he should be banned because he had luck to kill 27 people and die like 5 times because he were camping? -
I used to complain about the hacking problem a lots but now I know nothing the z8games GMs can do because this game is quite popular therefore it's a target for many hackers.
There are a fews solution to deal with hackers: pick the team you expect hackers are on your side, play with your friends only, or uninstall the games because summer is over :P -

They have this, its called Hardware Bad, But they choose to use it the wrong way. They only ban hacks from making new accounts. So what do they do? Make new accounts on a different computer and hack on. When Z8 games could out right ban there computer from ever playing. But as Z8 games always does. They give the hacks a easy way out. Look at how many hacks have VIP guns, Doesn't that tell you some thing about this game? Money rules, you tell a company how you feel by the way you act. Spending money on a broke item, is well? - stupid. -
It's pretty pointless to complain here, GMs are aware of the situation, it's just Xtrap that can't stop new hacks.
I thought I'd agree with the kick voting system, but after thinking about it, it does save me quite often, although it would be more logical. But sometimes you just don't have the luxury to press a key on the other side of your keyboard (bunny hopping in the middle of 5 people or defending a bomb, whatever).
As it's been said, hackers come in waves, and as summer is coming to an end, this wave will most likely be over soon. -

Who? Well the hackers making the hacks along with all of the players looking for hacks, but if you insinuate that z8 or smilegate distribute hacks, that's just ridiculous.
We've been at this point several times, there will be a working Xtrap patch and everything will go back to normal, then all the QQers will leave the forum without a word of thanks until the next hacking wave. -

Because the system works where you have to vote out player by pressing button.
You are mistaking people who don't vote as not taking part and don't care if the person is kicked or not, when in fact they don't care about your pointless kick and want the person to stay and don't want to press buttons to do this every time a noob issues a bogus kick. -

yea something Has got to be done about the hackers But it wont be.Just check old threads to see all the pointless promises made to us about clearing the hacks.The people that run this game are clueless and running around like headless chickens.I really cannot believe Z8 have got the cheek to bring out vip weapons and take all those noobs money when they cannot control what is happening in game.No doubt MORE promises will be made but really nothing will be done.Today Every room i joined had hackers in .I am just so BORED and SICK and TIRED of trying to find a Clean non hacking room.I would like to see something created for Honourable soldiers only,i know that is not a complete solution but i think it would help.

Z8 does NOTHING, they hide themselves behind events of 1ZP guns and ribbons and crates and easier ZM maps, but what are they doing about cheaters? or server's instability? NOTHING.
It's all about giving events and prizes to silence the community, that's what they have been doing since months ago. -

The waves will stay with this game till its dead. There are way to many hack-sites making hacks now. They will crack a patch in two days.

You are right, even I was playing and only saw speed hacks, sad reality.
What causality in almost every game where Xtrap works, the community/ players complain of that AC. -

From, let's say, February, to mid-July, I've been playing, a lot, and there was no hacker problem whatsoever, I must have encountered less than 10 of them. -

Play more Pubs, no way you haven't seen any hacks. Not unless you don't know when you are being walled, aimbot, ect. I have seen many kids that think hacks are Pro players. Is that you? -

You're kidding me right? I've only played pub, tons of pubs, and I can see the difference between a waller/aimbot and a guy who's just better than me or got lucky. If you think the situation now has always been the same since December 2012, then you need serious medication. -

Dude you are saying there has been no hacks maybe 10 as you say in 5 months of this game? There has never been more them 1 month in this games history with less the 10 hacks in it. Come on bro. Honestly, i hardly see hackers now. yeah there are a few but not many. People keep confusing skill with hacks. Then rage and go on the forums exaggerating that CF is full of hacks.
Thing is, this is a free game. There will be hackers and people wont stop hacking. Xtrap is doing good for what it is. Back then there wasn't a room without hacks and now i hardly see any.
As for the vote kick system, yeah it seems more logical to not count the people who didnt choose anything. that's something that could change.
