Patch client is already runnng

press CTRL + ALT + DEL and once task manager opens (unless your vista you gotta click task manager button) go to process window and look for patched_cf.exe might be named different should have the _cf bit though and do end task on it if that doesnt work restart the computer and if that dont work reinstall and if that dont work download the newer version 8D and if that dont work then your computer just doesnt wana let game guard run =\ or cf

before reinstalling check what version you have mine is crossfire_setup_v1028.exe (so version 1028) check your version there was a ton of trouble with the version 1027 and anythin below that is to outdated and you will need the latest version to download
