Crossfire Wont Launch

Turned off all anti virus and firewall
Uninstalled it and redownloaded new patch even with new patch it still has to patch
I check task manager to see if anything is running thats stopping it nothing shows
anyone know how to fix its installed and everything just that after 100% on hgw i look at task manager and it closes its self everytime started happening after patch yesterday dont know if its the download button on site if they updated it or what

My computer is Acer Windows 7 Had no problem running crossfire before patch yesterday

I have the EXACT same problem after the August 14th 2013 patch, i have played this game for over 4 years and this has never happened, i have not downloaded anything except the patch since i last played cf (yesterday) anyone know whats up? (no error messages or anything pop up)

Doesn't launch for me either, I think it is the update that messed things up.
