Even though I NEVER play as GR, only BL I kinda miss the smoke being thrown everywhere. Made it more fun imo.

Nobody agrees? They changed it all of a sudden, they didn't even annouced it. I really want it back, it's very useful.

GR has plenty of advantages, 1 grenade per person is plenty.

1 grenade per person is more than enough. It's biased to GR as it is. So swap your frags for a smokey bomb before joining.
