I've been halfway up about 3 times. Damage spots ftl? -
Theres a secret spot in the well. If you land perfectly towards the left at the bottom, you go underground that leads to the tower.
Go try.

But I was there when Denxi was the first person to make it up there

Anyways, about 3/4 of the way up the ladder is as far as you can get.
