If you cannot go through the official channels through a Support ticket then there is pretty much no other alternative for you.

Mods only immerse themselves with forum day-to-day activities and only slightly with ingame issues.

GMs use the Support system to communicate with players with just about everything, from account issues to billing to even hacking reports. Private Messaging a GM may lead back to the instruction to take your concern to a Support ticket so it can have better interest and dedication to your concern. Also note that the specific GMs here, such as Saidin and HPX, would use the forums to announce something important to address to the rest of the community.

You are responsible for maintaining and remembering your account information. Your best bet is really to know what it was you input for an answer to your security question. It's like a second layer of security.

As for solutions available, there are a few you can consider.

  Crossfire, then Account Administration.
  You'll need to fill out the form to the best of your ability, also to note the purpose of your ticket found at the very first box.

Please understand that it may take a few business days to get a reply back to you, so please be patient with them. There are a WHOLE lot of other people with their tickets wanting help as well.
