I can't update

It take 2 and a half hours so far for updating.
I downloaded the client on crossfire website.
My normal download speed is 50MBps
I don't know why it take so long.
If I copy updated client from other computer it appear a error say something about compatibility mode, and then disappear, after few second the game will run but, after about 1.5 minutes in game it kick me out, and say something like hgwc: timed out waiting for initialing xtrap-engine
I'm using windows 8.1
