Server Lag?

Is it just me or is the Alpha server lagging? If its just me it's probably the relocated server. I say that because there is no possible way to explain the ping spike:

2 patches ago: 54-92
1 patches ago: 92-120

Current ping stable at 120.

Its not just you, i've been noticing that my ping has gone up almost double.
Before the July patch it was around 120-130 because there was a relocation of the servers
at that point. And after the patch, my normal ping of 99-101. And these few days my ping
is a steady 179. At first i thought it was my internet thats lagging, but no, i tried
everything like calling the service that i had internet with, and all other things, but realized
it was the server.

In the servers that is close to where i live, i get the same ping around
90.....So i dont know why it changed all the sudden in alpha. But last night my ping went to
100 for some hours, then this morning, my ping went back to 179.... And its pretty hard to
adjust to such a high ping when you're not used to it, also i can't get a good gameplay
experience off of having such a high ping... Hope they fix this soon!

It's for some of you.

Let me just say it lol;

A majority of the players had their old ping returned to their normal ping after they messed it up. Now after this July patch, some of the players who had an acceptable, low ping (including you, Saint) had your ping greatly increased, if not doubled.

These mess-ups have happened before and Z8Games have cleared these issues. I'm sure you remember, lol. Unfortunately, I have absolutely no idea of the specifics.

I guess I'll just sit and wait. I didn't want this necessarily to become about the ping, I was just curious about Alpha cause many people seem to agree with me ingame.

My ping was 12-32 but now, it's 58-192.

Mainly Alpha and Echo, yeah.

My ping changes after every patch also, but not like from 50 to 100. It was 41-43 during last patch, after this one it is 48-55. But im talking about uk servers.

Those slight ping spikes won't be noticeable within your gameplay at all. So, you have nothing to worry about there.

It's not like you experience a 10 to 90 ping change or something. And such a minute difference will not have a superior impact on your in-game performances.

Thought it was just me.. phew.
Before this patch i averaged a good 75-89 ping, now i'm going from 120-198...

Reg is so bad some games it feel likes a 100 ping.. and others feels normal. Shows sub 20 all the time.

It seems that the west coast (or west NA) were hit the hardest. Mine (54-120) is a huge difference while most Eastern players seem to have a 5-15 ping variation, which doesn't really affect them.

Thanks for the post, I am having this issue as well. My ping never fluctuated or even spiked before this patch and it stayed at 64-65.

Now I am around 85 in the morning but it fluctuates a lot. And in the evening I'm averaging 130.

I almost called the internet company. I wondered if this game started using lag compensation like some of the other fail games out there. I also wondered if it was just lag because the game had to account for everyone's armor since EVERYONE has armor now.

The only good news is I can play in USA West/Delta and not get kicked for being a "gringo".....the only derogatory term not banned by this game.

My friend had his ping doubled from 90 to 180, if this goes for players residing in NA, why don't Brazilians get their ping doubled to 400 or so

As for me, my ping stays good all the time

i am talking about the uk servers i have same problem i used to be 65-80 and when i was lagging i was maximum 105 but now im 148-197.. i can't play withthis lag at all..
