IM DONE!
CF worked great when i got a new laptop, but it used to crash after 2 hours of playing, also sometimes when i press CF icon, it doesnt oopen the HGWC reaches step 12 and 100% and then nothing happens
I decided to uninstall then re-install CF, after doing that *10 minutes ago* i get the same error that I used to get in the old laptop.
"Failed to download patch-list files"
Help please..

I don't know why anyone has trouble, I never have any issues but the 1 that I ended up resolving myself. Oh, and that one time the update didn't work for crap and I had to re-install.
As for the patch, if it fails to update then the best course of action is to keep trying or re-install.
Make sure you have updated your adobe software, it is translation software that helps run most of the software on your pc.
Make sure your game runs as administrator, xp compatibility mode, and allowed through your firewall and antivirus programs.

I re-installed it 4 times, re-downloaded it 2 times, and i try to open it 5 times everyday..
