I get called bad all of the time in GM, do i care? lol nope.
Just tell them that you play for fun and couldn't give a hoot whether you're bad or not, mention to them that playing for fun is cool and they should try it sometime.
That's what i do, usually gets to them more than arguing with them, i usually finish with LMAO @ the try hard.
They either get mad as hell which is funny or they shut up. Works for me.

I feel like if you don't play GM almost exclusively it's hard to find the people who are chill. In every mode there will be people who will trash talk, but GM definitely has some extreme cases.
From what I've seen though, half the time, maybe more, the players are just joking with you. For myself, I only give it if I think you can take it (and take it as a joke). Of course sarcasm doesn't always translate in written text.
Even in some of the extreme cases of large egos, if you kinda get to know them, you realize they aren't serious (most of the time haha). -

I understand that it isn't JUST ghost mode that has an issue with this. And no, this isn't just another QQ thread on how awful GM is nowadays. I actually enjoy ghost mode and always have, even when the ghosts had cheats to where they could shoot me with an awm while invisible. I'm just saying that as a veteran of the game of whom has watched this game go from better to worse, it saddens me to see that so many people of the community are blaming the staff of the organization that owns CF at this point in time for what they themselves have caused. Whether or not this happened when Subagames had the game is beyond me, I was not actively enrolled in the Subagames forum and quite honestly had no reason to be. The people of GM need to take some sort of action toward their own egotism and self indulging attitudes so that GM may once again be enjoyed by the community.
Also, yes the part about Ghostyle is in fact about BaIIs. It's actually quite sad that you knew that and could point out the exact player I was referring to in one shot. -
i don't even know why a player named 'NoticeMeOwn' is crying about ego when his name is ego.
no wonder he's getting into fights with people. they probably think you're a jack*** for having that name so they tone you down and now you're upset because some one said they're better than you. -
I am far from upset. Being a long lasted member of the community, I see that GM is by far a plethora of ego, far more than E8 or any other competitive field. Being that the GM players complained that there was no March of the Ghosts this past year, or any GM tournaments hosted by Z8, I thought it would be benificial for the GM players to see that they themselves have messed up their own chances of GM tournies because quite frankly, who wants to host a tournament with a prize to a bunch of loud mouthed kids who at the end will just complain about who should have won and who is better and '1v1 me' and 'you suck, kill yourself because I'm GM GOD' all over the forums? My name in no way says that I am an above par player of any sorts. I can aim and shoot. EVERYONE CAN. It's the simplistic pattern of the game. I made the name 4 years ago when I started and haven't changed it except for 1 time to [WAL]Notice which was then swapped back. It's an old name, I plan on keeping it. It doesn't hint that I am a based god of any particular mode, but I do know how to hold my own in every mode. -

He finished with a 20-12 score while I pulled a 27-9. He later demanded that I 1v1 him to prove who is the better GM player. Whilst I sat there in astonishment to the 1v1 remark, he demands to play me and continually insults me. I reply that 1v1s honestly mean nothing to prove skill in any form or fashion, he decides to bash me for "dodging" him and his offer.
This has happened multiple times with multiple GM clans and players. All I see from the GM field is egocentric, childish, and rude members of our community. Though I know not all GM players are complete *******s or childish brats, one cannot lie or even deny the 80-90% statistic.
I'd say, as a SnD player just touching foot in the waters of Ghost Mode, that the field that was once full of fun and laughter is now full of egos and children.

If you played GM regularly, you wouldn't see it from this point of view. There are so many GMers that are chill to play with. Some have egos, but you gotta get passed that. Its not even a big deal. Maybe it wasn't your intentions to begin with, but this is just another QQ thread about GM egos.

I do believe that I said 80-90% of them are. If you're in the small margin of decent players (Which by history with, I'd say Danny is, but I've yet to play with Hezzi), then that's great! I do believe that I said 80-90% of them are. If you're in the small margin of decent players (Which by history with, I'd say Danny is, but I've yet to play with Hezzi), then that's great! You're that small percent that is remaining productive toward the mode you love and I applaud you for it!
I don't quite understand how you can boldly say that 80-90% of all GM players are *******s. Honestly, you should rephrase your statement and say that 80-90% of the GMers that you've encountered were of that kind, which would be more accurate I believe. -

I'll agree that may be a more fair statement, but if I were to go solely off of clans and how they act toward GM (Each GM clan has a different span of egotism; 1 being humble to 10 being egocentric assmunch) I would think it's safe to say that atleast 80% of the clans encourage the attitude if not condoned. By that, I mean to say that 8 out of 10 Ghost mode clans do not care for the ego, or they encourage it. That may not be a fair statement to each and every GM player, but from a SnD player's standpoint, that's the way it seems to be.
I have played with a few clans and actually been apart of a few GM clans (Pathers for example) on alt accounts and it seemed that they disliked the ego as much as I did. I'm not saying every single GM player out there is childish, rude, obnoxious, and bratty, but you have to admit, it's the sore eye to the community. -
