Failed to connect to server.

When i attempted to log in today, i got the error "Failure to connect to server", at first i thought this was because of the downpour yesterday in Toronto, but it seems everyone else can log on fine and play, i have reinstalled crossfire yet the same problem arises.

Is there a way to resolve this problem?
