Client MFC Application

cant even load the game

it loads everything and right before the game launch's it stops and crashes back to desktop (don't even make it to the login screen)

avast
uninstalled/reinstalled

I would also suggest never using Avast, as it does not like cf or any games for that matter...

I can only speak for myself - I use Avast (-only the anti-virus) since many years, on WinXP before and now on Win7 without any problems...and I liiiiiike it
