windows 8.1 and x-trap

Hi! I updated to windows 8.1 and cannot play crossfire. If I'm quick, I can join a game, but then it quits because xtrap could not initialize.

As i do not own a windows 8 OS i cannot help you or tell you what a possible fix could be. If the number of these threads increases and the problem can be replicated, the issue will be fixed faster.

For now you can send a support ticket under Technical support.

Try going into properties and run in xp compatibility mode, also do this for xtrap. Hopefully this will prevent some issues, nothing else you can always download a virtual machine software, download xp from microsofts website then run them in combo and install cf on that lol. I know, aint nobody got time for that.

TY! I have already opened a ticket here and have sent one to x-trap as well via their utility. Everything in their website's in Korean, so I'm not sure how much help they will be able to provide ...
