My game wont even open...

The game will not run. After I click "Start" nothing happens.

Anyone know why? Thanks

    Can you be more spesific, i've never had this one myself but for the people that did get it, i dont think i was resolved.

    Heres what you could add
    • What operating system are you running?
    • What happens after you launch the game?
      Does the loader not respond, does the loader turn all wierd colors? or does nothing happen after "Start" is hit?
    • Have you tried going to the CF directory and running the game through Patcher_CF?
    • What have you installed during the past few weeks/days, anything that could been conflicting with xtraps connection to "crossfire.exe". Most advance firewalls block stuff like this.
    • Have you tried disabling your firewall whilst running Cross Fire?

    Ctrl + Alt + Del
    Search for the patcher.exe or crossfire.exe task and finish it.
    Maybe the game will load.

    It used to help, but now i have the same problem and cant play for more than 2 days... :/

    Windows 7 home premium 64 bit.
    The start button changes colour and when I press it nothing happens. No errors and no process. Like I never pressed it. It's allowed through the firewall. I did get it working once (I don't know how) but it just wont work. Also, I've always been able to play the game, I've changed nothing.

    Sounds like it's in the middle of patching when the start button grays out. Try looking down at your bar and see if it's loading a patch or not. Otherwise you may have to include more information that just windows 7 64 bit.
