[Off-Topic Event] Cross Fire Community NHL Playoff Pool!
I am once again hosting Cross Fire's community NHL playoff pool! There is a 40,000 zp award to the overall winner of this pool. The winner will be rewarded his/her ZP the day after the Stanley Cup has been lifted (end of the playoffs). The reward will be 2 $20 UCG's (Ultimate Game Cards)
You don't need to be a hockey fan or even have a clue what it is. Hockey playoffs are never predictable and the unexpected always happens, sometimes the clueless guess takes you farther than anyone could imagine. Just sign up and have fun!
This is a great way to meet new people in the Cross Fire community outside of the game. I hope you have as much fun as I will. Last year we had 20 people including JudgeSims, GMSaidin, PRAZE (notable mentions) and I hope that this year we have close to 50!
DEADLINE IS APRIL 30! (TUESDAY)*
Signing Up:
- Go to the NHL Bracket Challenge web page
- Create a NHL.com account with your forum name or IGN as your username
- After creating an account you can join the Cross Fire Pool
- If the direct link does not work you must manually search for the pool
- To do this search "Cross Fire Comunity Playoff Pool" under the Leagues Tab
- Once you join this league you will need to make your round 1 picks!
Rules:
- You may only have 1 participating account.
- Please be courteous and respectful to others participating in the pool
- Conduct yourself in a mature manner, you are representing the game Cross Fire to the hockey world
- Refrain from breaking the Z8Games Forum Guidlines on this thread
- Failure to follow any of these rules will result in disqualification from the pool.
Please note that you must update your picks after every playoff round! Failure to do so will put you at a huge disadvantage in the competition as you will not collect any points. I will do my best to remind you through posts on this thread and mass PM's.

*Note that you can sign up anytime during the playoffs, but it will be highly unlikely that you will win.

Oh.. ended up getting in the top 3 XD I think I did pretty good for someone who has never watched NHL and didn't know anything about it (I have only played hockey on the NES when I was little, it's not a popular sport in my country). Just did like 1 hour research to see some old games of the teams and that's about it
