Ping Fix for Crossfire
Dear Z8GAMES.
I am a competitive player from the UK, although i play most of my time in outside servers such as ECHO 8 competitive teams ETC. I have been playing competitive for a long time infact a few years ago my ping was 99-100. Now its over 160+. I am very unhappy i want a moderator to fully help me with this problem.
Things i need from Z8GAMES:
1) I need a moderator to speak to me online on Ventrillo servers or Mumble Severs or any other way to communicate to him.
2) I need a Ping fix maybe they could higher the altitude of the internet connections or higher the internet frequency through their ways.
3) I have a team to Back up i do not want to lag throughout my games.
4) I do not want to be Ignored and someone to tell me go buy better internet etc. I know my internet is from 99-109 ping but the crossfire servers try to make it higher.
If i can get my old ping i would be very happy. If you want to go against my team DTA is the clan name and my IGN is : [KO]
I really need a fix for this because i am not staying silent this time i am going out reaching out for my rights. please help me GM'S or anyone that is good with computers and can tell me how to achieve even a lower ping than 99-100.

WARHAWK no one is helping me.... what do you mean dont bumb my friend and i told u not to tell me to buy better ping ALPHA ECHO BRAVO AND ALL THE OTHER CANADIAN servers have the same distance.. maybe a few miles away but the difference isnt 60 ping bro come on man.. be realistic bro + they highered my ping man i was 110-120 the other day in E8 now 160 i am so sad man u know me i cant play now i have to spray to kill now

Your ping entirely relies on how your connection is routed to the servers.
My ping hasn't increased in 4 years to these servers and my ping actually decreases during off peak times.
Actually increasing your bandwidth wont decrease your ping unless you were getting something stupidly low before the upgrade.
Your ping increase is likely down to the route your connection takes from the UK to Canada being changed over the years.
But it can be a multitude of reasons such as you running programs that use more of your bandwidth than it used to. -
thank you for ur kind advice but just recently it changed .it was running perfectly, also when at 169 ping i can still register fine i can still play, so i am guessing it is something wrong with the site. They can lower my ping just the way they made it higher man. Maybe they made a new change to the system which affected me. I am very unhappy and i want this changed bro. I am not a normal player i have to play there u dont understand i am competitive and i dont even play UK where i have like 20 ping. I know it sounds crazy but i have a name here i dont want to destroy my reputation

I'm also from the UK. I and alot of others have always had 120 ping or so and have always wanted to get under 100. I finally got good enough internet (Bt Infinity 2) yet the Canadian servers suck and keep changing my ping. In Bravo I always get 96-100 ping which is really good (my ping does change in Bravo aswell however it only changes 1-2 up/down per room I join; but in other Canadian servers it changes up to 10-20) In Alpha/Echo my ping always changes. In some rooms I'll get 96, others 106 or 116 and it literally changes every room I join. It's not my internet, my ping decides to change and stay really stable at either 96/106/116. It's really a gamble on what ping I'll get and rejoining will change my ping from 1-2. Here are some links of my speed/ping tests

Everyone living in NA is having terrible ping problems at the moment because of the servers, I'm not having those same problems because I don't live in the same region but I'm having different problems (random ping changes for no reason; just more prove that it's the actual servers)
I think it's one of these two reasons.
It's either #1
There's a problem with displaying ping for me, I could be actually getting 96 all the time but it shows another ping up to 20 higher for what ever reason (I don't think i've noticed a difference in game play, this could all be psychological; it does show higher ping which is annoying even if this is true)
or #2
There's just a problem with the servers which is actually giving me the higher 10-20 ping that I shouldn't be getting (does make a huge difference for a high pinger)
With my internet I should be getting lower ping and others in the past with the same internet have had pings in the 80s. Alot of NA players have also had pings in the 80s in the UK servers. They won't any more due to the fact that the UK servers ARE in Germany (ping test/speed test to Germany or join a room there and look at the flag on xfire) I get 21 ping connected to Germany which is 11 higher so NA players with good internet should be getting 105 maybe even 95 (The same as me, however, NA players have a longer distance yet the same ping, It's because the server connection is fine for them but not for UK players) What I've been trying to say is, NA players ping would've gone up in the UK servers because the distance is now further (servers are in Germany) But the UK players shouldn't be getting higher ping because the servers are in Toronto like they've always been (we used to get lower ping and now it's higher or changes from what it should be every room we join)
Since the servers are down at the moment I hope they're fixing the NA players lag along with the ping changes I've been getting. Maybe they'll even put the UK servers back in the UK :O
I do think that the lag problems could be due to something in Canada because my ping has gone up on ping test on the Canadian server but my ping has stayed the same on every other server.

WOW.... maybe they should get out and start running fiber directly to your house? Maybe they can get AT&T (who owns the backbone of cable the internet travels through in the US) to upgrade every single piece of equipment they have in order to give you a better connection?
Have you ever tried running a constant ping to a website to see if your connection is lagging? Have you ever run a tracert to see if you have any lag there? I am speaking from personal experience as well as a comprehensive understanding of how the internet actually works. There are certain times of day when my 50mbps connection lags.
I bust out my command prompt and start testing. Most times it's my own damn ISP that's to blame. When I am seeing 30-40% packet loss then I have to get them on the phone and complain. For me, this is happening nearly every night now around 11 PM.
Z8 doesn't have any control over how the internet works or the type of actual connection their servers are getting; that's all AT&T because it's their backbone, their fiber and their equipment. Z8 can't just increase the rate of their internet connection because it doesn't work that way.

I know it's nothing to do with my internet, I'm not lagging my ping is stable in every room however it changes from pub to pub. When I ping google.co.uk I get 8 ping 4 times with no packet loss, same with pingtest. Also my ping is always 21 in UK server (which is located in Germany) It's stable and the same in every room (unlike in echo)
