Crossfire Send Error Report

Hi guys. I downloaded crossfire on my windows 7 laptop and it won't even make it to the log-in menu before it says send error?
Please help I have re-installed over and over but nothing has worked.
Please please please I love this game and I wanna play it. :)

    When reinstalling are you not only uninstalling the game but also deleting the setup file & downloader as well as any left over game files and THEN restarting the computer?

    Then after restarting you'd disable your antivirus and firewall while downloading the downloader... Then the files.... Then installing the game THEN re-enabling protection before restarting your computer AGAIN before attempting to start the game?
