Can't connect to server Error

What are these servers running on? Did you move the datacenters to save money not so long ago? Is it the network or the load on the servers?
I would suggest with all the cash you are raking in to put the hosted service into somewhere a little more expensive with a platinum service level probably using SRM (if they are running on a vmware back end) to add some site-site resilience or people will leave the game.
You have to invest back into your infrastructure or your customers will go elsewhere.
If you need any sort of pointers in regards to hosting a platinum level "always on" service let me know, I am sure I could help you out....
As everything is failing I am assuming there is a common denominator here, most likely the database back end is overloaded, not resilient and needs upgrading (probably SQL), or the network connectivity is shot at your hosted location. My money is on the SQL back end?
I, like everyone else, am a little frustrated by these errors.
I do this stuff for a living, not with games of course, but a game is only an app at the end of the day.
