fps problem!!!NEED HELP!!

hello cf users i am from Greece and i am playing both cf na and cf eu.On cf eu i have 200 fps and in the same room on cf na i have 30 fps...i can't play at all and the reason i am posting that here is that i have to play a tournament the day after tomorrow and i need your help as soon as possible!!!!I already defraged my disk,updated my graphic card drivers and generally i cleaned up my pc but i still have 30 fps...do you have something else to suggest me?as i said before i need your help as soon as possible thanks a lot!!

Change your res to 800x600, works wonders for you FPS.

my cf res is 800x600..i also changed windows res to 800x600 and my fps jumped from 30 to 37-40 but i still can't play decent...!!

You may have to alter your graphics card settings to improve gameplay, also sometimes your fps can be effected by your ping spiking. I would suggest looking up crossfire graphics settings, or find out what kind of graphics card you have and look up the best fps settings for that.

try closing as many other applications as possible e.g. skype, also you may need to defrag your PC.
BTW what OS are you using, if using XP try switching to win7.
Also when was the last time you cleaned your PC tower and other hardware.

If all else fails re-install your current OS.

i cleaned up my pc 3 days ago,i defraged my pc yesterday and i am using win 7.My pc is really good i can say.I don't know what is the problem cause in the same room in cf europe i have 200 fps and on na i have 30...but thanks for the answers i ll keep searching for a solution!!
