Hi i got a clan and under my name stands points: 12

What does this means?

it means your clan rank is 12
you must be in Kinqs Return

If it says 12 points around your name, it is just showing the amount of points you have contributed to the clan yourself. To try and get more clan points, you need to get 500exp per 1 clan point. Your exp does not go away, CF just counts up how much exp you have and convert it to points.

It's how many times better you are than your fellow clan members, if they have higher numbers, then they are better. To make yourself the best you must earn lots of EXP in a day, 5000 + should be enough for you to claim your true reward.
