Non hackers getting kicked for hacking!

Still throwing this idea out there for the CF community. Still would like to hear more feedback. Please leave your "constructive" opinions on it good or bad, thankyou.

Heres a quick recap in case any newcomers dont want to read through all the other posts here:

Allow only the highest ranked players to be able to make their own rooms where they cannot be kicked by any of the other players. And yes even perhaps give them a certain amount of free immediate kicks. So if someone comes along who they know is a trouble maker or hacker they can just kick them without even having to vote.

These high ranked players are obviously very familiar with the game. It would be very unlikely that they use hacks because they wouldnt want to jeopardize their account and have it banned. And it is unlikely that they made a practice of using hacks as they leveled up because the chances are they would have gotten reported and busted to begin with, before they could even make it to that rank.

And thinking about it. I really dont recall ever seeing hardly any instances of the highest ranked players being accused of cheating and I cant recall ever seeing or thinking of any high ranked players using cheats and hacks. If I have, it has been very far and few in between. Again, if id have to put a number on it, I would estimate that at least 80% of that player base who would be non kickable room hosts would be legit and fair and wouldnt hack. And I think thats being conservative actually.

Taking all these factors into consideration, I really cant see any flaws with this type of system period. I can only see so many positive possibilities here and I really think this is something that would work. But of course Im open to anyone who can see any problems and would want to critique. Id really like to hear more opinions on this, both for and against.

Soooooo, Im back lol from a much needed break from this game. Been about 3 months since Ive played CF. The main reason - Z8 in case youre listening...in case you care which at this point I highly suspect you dont, is it just got to be too much crap to put up with.

Despite the fact that I really enjoy this game quite a lot & *sometimes* have a lot of fun playing it, the hackusations as it was aptly & creatively put a few posts back just got to be too much & just drains too much of the fun factor out ultimately.

I basically said the hell with it & decided Im sick of wasting my time playing a game I thoroughly enjoy only to end up being disgusted by so many of my fellow gamers idiocy, short sided-ness & guilty before proven innocent attitude & on top of that to receiving no feedback from Z8 on this matter. Ive spent my free time playing and enjoying other games & Z8 again in case you care which again I doubt you do, Ive taken some $ I would of invested in this game & spent it elsewhere due to nothing less than your utter lack of response & extremely poor customer service.

As Ive said before I think the main suggestion I offered up several times is a very intelligent & well thought out & good one & at the least warranted a response from you. I civilly invited you to offer a formal response to my suggestions & perhaps a friendly open-ended discussion there after, between myself & anyone else reading this interested enough to get involved, only in the hopes of solving a problem that truly plagues this game & its players but you chose not to respond.

Why have a suggestion board here if you dont even bother to respond? Is it simply a guise to give the illusion you care about what your customers think??? I honestly dont know the ratio of responses youve given to the # of other suggestions thrown out here & im sure its not realistic for you to respond to every single question or concern posted on your boards but at the risk of sounding immodest I must say I think this entire thread including the suggestions offered therein more than warrant an adequate response from you.

And if you think my idea sucks, please by all means tell me so & be so kind as to then explain why. Thats all Im asking I wont be offended either way, any type of response would be appreciated in fact. If you dont agree with it fine, at least extend the common courtesy & respect of a response either way. I am so adamant about this only for my benefit as well as all the other players that are affected by this.

If you want to continue to ignore this thread then it truly shows how little you care about your customers concerns & thoughts Z8. Whether Im a paying customer or not the fact that I or anyone else uses your "free" service generates revenue for you in one way or another & that alone makes me a customer of yours. The fact I have spent some of my own $ to buy some extra GP is beside the point, but perhaps in the eyes of some, would add to it anyway. And I do believe I speak for a large portion of your player base. This isnt just my concern alone & its more important to me then if it were, simply cuz I do believe a lot of other players share my concerns & I think I voice the concerns of a large portion of my fellow CF players. You can see an example of this from some of the posts made from others here & on other threads as well.

Annnnnyway to anyone else reading this I started playing again a few days ago. I noticed what seems to be a new anti-hacking system. I thought "oh wow maybe things have changed". WRONG. I was a little rusty at first from not playing for so long, so while I was warming back up...guess what? I didnt get accused more than once or twice & I was kicked zero times but it didnt take too long & I picked right back up where I left off. Kinda like riding a bike lol & wouldnt ya know it... Hacker accusations abound, not just myself but anyone else that scored a fair kill as well, as usual.

And as usual I found myself getting kicked out of my own room over & over & over again. And a little side note - I personally find wearing headphones sucks compared to using a decent speaker system with the volume cranked way up. I find using my speakers to hear those "subtle" noises makes it much much easier to pinpoint where theyre coming from VS. using headphones. But I had to as my gf was laying in bed next to me sleeping lol. SO anyway, being ****ed off & very frustrated & aggravated...again, I thought hmm let me check my thread & vent a little bit & see if maybe this time z8 will bother to respond about my earlier stated suggestion & honestly I was pleasantly surprised to see several new posts from others since Ive even bothered to check which was about 3 months ago.

At this point Im sure im going to continue to hang in there for a while again as thats how much I really like this game but if old habits continue Im sure its only a matter of time before I get burnt out again from dealing with trying to play & enjoy a game that Im just "too good" at, according to qq babies who falsely throw the word hacker out there & then effectively ruin my game by kicking me out.

But there is a very viable solution. The one Ive already offered up before about giving unkickable status to those players with the highest ranks while in their own room they created. Sure it wouldnt completely solve the problem for everyone (in theory it could if every player achieved that high rank) but at least it would for the serious players who invest so much of their time to attain that high rank & would give them something to look forward to. Even a reward, if you will.

I know if that option were available to me, for as much as I like this game it would make me wanna hang in there with the knowledge that at least I could eventually play & enjoy this game without having to worry about some punk or moron ruining it for me by falsely kicking me from it. And under my suggestion, let them moan & QQ all they want & blame the high ranking player of hacking, like I said before if they dont like it they can go elsewhere to another room (& good riddance) & Im sure if that high ranked player was in fact hacking it would catch up with them eventually anyway & theyd still get banned for using hacks. And as Ive also noted I highly doubt thered be very many instances of high ranked player accounts using hacks anyway. Who in their right mind would wanna risk being caught & having their account terminated??? An account that took them countless hours to get such a high rank on. Not very many I wager. I think what Ive offered up is a win win situation all around.

Thanks Koreaalee ( ; Your sentiments are much appreciated & its that kind of positive attitude that is the key to persevering in the face of any obstacle or adversity, big or small. I sincerely hope too, that that a change will be made, whether it be my suggestion or anything else that can properly address this problem that frustrates myself & so many others.

If you are good and you get kicked so what? It was a majority vote!! That means most of the people in the room wanted you out.

You don't receive any penalty or desertion on your stats, so just find another room and keep owning!!

I agree the kick system should stay in place & is a good thing to have...except when its abused & not used as its truly intended to be used. Which is to actually kick the real troublemakers & hackers. Faaaaaaar too often too many people get falsely accused of cheating & kicked who dont deserve it. Thats another reason why I think my idea is perfect. Only the highest ranked players can attain this unkickable status while in their own room they created. All the other players lower in rank including the very new players are still subject to getting kicked.

And I find usually the case is when a vote kick comes up, the majority of the time most people will just blindly hit f11 & vote yes. Either from ignorance or they just have the mentality of "better him then me" or they simply just dont care. And the better youre playing, the more likely it is this will happen just like that. In fact this has been proven time & time again, to myself & anyone else this has happend to who themselves can honestly say they werent cheating at all & still got vote kicked out.

And its not about receiving a penalty. It more about the time & inconvenience & the resulting frustration of getting kicked. Some matches can last a good 20-30 mins & then when youre kicked instead of being allowed to continue the game & win & get rewarded for it with EXP & GP points you are instead unjustly robbed of that & you basically just threw away 20-30 minutes of your time for nothing.

Now if your only playing simply for the fun if it then great for you. But I know most people, myself included not only play for the fun of it but also to get somewhere with it. In terms of advancing their rank & their personal game stats & the GP amongst other things. Its kinda like playing an RPG for an hour, you level up a few times, advance through the story line, collect your items & gold and then dont save it & have to start over. All that time you invested was meaningless; you acquired nothing. The same thing with CF.

And I can tell you there are hours & hours & hours of my played time nullified by being wrongfully kicked from the games sooooo many times. And if thats not enough, simply having it happen on a continuous basis, sometimes for me as much as 3 different times in an hour; hour after hour, is extremely annoying & frustrating to say the least. It all just flat out sucks anyway you look at it.

Fully agreed. I know when I 1st started CF I confused speed hacks with lag often times as I didnt know about ping. Now I can spot the differences. But too many new players cannot.

Use a Kickcounter: Everyone who starts a kick voting will be automaticly registered, as well as the kicked one. There is always stupid crap that only kicks the good player becuase they dont want to loose or they want the ace.
If someone is kicking he will be recorded and also the player who should be kicked.
After a while there are a number of Kicks collected on each player. Now a CF-Admin can take a look to both sides of the kick.

Good Idea I think. It would definitely help keep the real hackers in check better I think. But I dont think z8 has the resources & manpower nor the desire to implement the necessary steps. Seems like this would be too big of an undertaking for them. I could be wrong though.

There u can chose the player, tell a reason y to kick, and u have to dicribe the trouble. From this point a replay will start and directly send to the Admins of the Game. So they have the replay immediately, can check it and if the "kicker" reports to often wrong he will also be banned.
We can hit 2 flys with one hit.
All the noob kicker crap will be banned and the report of an hacker will be faster, less complicated and easier...

I really like this idea lol. I think thats a great idea in fact & it would definitely make the majority of vote-kick trigger happy players think twice about unjustly vote kicking someone for a bogus reason when they have an actual consequence to face for falsely accusing. And yeah, you get a player who has a nasty habit of falsely reporting then I say to hell with em and yeah have their accounts banned or at least, to be fair, as a 1st time warning, a suspension. Seriously thats one of the better ideas Ive come across that seems very ideal...but again I wonder if Z8 would be willing and able to allocate the necessary man power & resources for this.

NOW IF ONLY A Z8 REP WOULD BOTHER TO TAKE THE TIME TO ACKNOWLEGE THIS IDEA & MINE & TELL US WHY IT WOULD OR WOULD NOT BE WORTH THEIR TIME TO CONSIDER THESE SUGGESTIONS.
