When you uninstall did you clean your reg? this might be the root of the problem.

Make sure you're downloading off of the official mirrors for Crossfire.
I might also suggest using old versions of gameguard files to see if it will reinstall itself.

hey looks like you were DLing the v1031 try and use a older version like v1028 v1027
