Type 89

I hear it's a AK47 + ScarL mix. Two of the best rifles (IMO) in the game together? OPINIONS PLEASE!

Oh and where is the most common place to find one? Or do I have to wait a while.

OR I could buy one myself, all I need is a really good gun for GM and I'm set until staff.

In my opinion it's more like a cross between the ScarL and the M4A1 Adv.

I think the type89 is good , but it is not strong as the Scarlight or M4A1

The Type 89 feels like a cross between the M4 and the Scar L. It's got less power than both, however. Be a good shot or it'll tale you a while to bring someone down with this.

The type 89 imo is really accurate but the power doesn't fit it at all. If it had the power of a Scar or an M4 it would be a beast gun. For me.

it lacks power... but makes up for it by being quiet, controllable, and very accurate. still, it takes some getting used to... frigging japanese weapons designers... is this the best you could come up with >_>

In my oppinoin the type 89 is way too under powered to be ak or scar l material, but I have only used it a couple of times. But I think it is still a very accurate and quite gun

i think is not better then the scar light but its such a good gun.IMO i think its better then the m4 , xm8 and g3.it has good acuracy and power i think you should buy it.

no lol this weapon is totally different from scar l and ak47 .... stop say that is a mix between them.
Type89 is just like type89..... not high damage, nice rof, weird sound while shoot (xD), good recharge and the aim with this weap. is different from the other weapon maybe it is close to ak (only the aim) but is more easy with type89. The long spary is not good (like the most of weapon).
In conclusion if u need a good weapon for gm i don't suggest the Type89, ak is better, or some other weapon, m4, m60, mp5 ^.^

The Type 89 has far to slow of a reload to be really any good in GM mode if you are being chased by ghosts.

i like this gun a lot im a total sprayer (XD) and i do use it in gm and im pretty good at it in gm also

for me i think it's like m4 and scar l

recoil is like m4 and power is like scar l (that's wat i think)

i agree it a cross between an scarL and m60 cause it looks like a m60 with almost the same stats as a scarL plus i used it it may lack power but it kill in 2 shots in the body and it light weight is also good
