Which core does cf run on with Qcores?

Just a simple question, this seems like the logical place to post it. Not sure how many cores CF supports (1 or 2) and I like to have all of my programs set to the other cpus, however, due to gameguard, I can't just change what cpu's I want crossfire to use. So the question would be what cpu (s) does crossfire run off of by default, 0, 1, 2, or 3.

I don't think the engine is optimized for multicore systems, which means that windows will distribute threads among all available cores as it sees fit. I don't see any reason why you couldn't set the affinity to any core of your choice, although I'm not sure that it would be of any benefit.

hey i got a question, just simple, wat does that mean? i mean i understand but odnt understand the question, what ur trying to ask :S

I think what he's trying to say is that he wants to "move" the processes "GameGuard.exe" and "crossfire.exe" to execute on only one core. And the rest of his programs, whatever they may be, can run on Cores 1, 2 and 3, but not 0, because he wants GG and CF to run on that core only. CrossFire doesn't have support for multi-cores, but it may help CF's performance if you move the background workload to Cores 1, 2 and 3 and CF and GG will have Core 0 all by itself.
