I think it only works on Win7 64bits..

I continue to see threads about this all the time. Until October 22 Windows 7 is not an officially released product and as such you should not expect any software to fully support it. The compatibility issue is with Gameguard and not Crossfire. When Inca releases an update for Gameguard then Windows 7 32 bit users will be able to play.

Also, a lot of people out there are using non-legal copies of Windows 7. If there are any major changes to the system kernel from the RC1 or Beta versions to the RTM version, even Inca's update might not work.
