the game will not load i click start and nothin happens and in task bar the thing just disapears, ive had this for over 2 weeks and ive tryed to reinstall the game, same issue

no, try windows updates - search for new updates

or try updating your rig info - it might be 7601, jst xfire be out of date...

downloaded opera, its a brower that works better for me then firefox, advanced system care 6.1 also, cant think of anything else, my pc is a complete arse and wont let me restore to an earlyer date tho

what anti virus are you running? and what other programs are running in the background?

also: try running cf in compatibility mode for xp sp3

Same problem here bro. Idk if it has something to do with it but I just uninstalled unnecessary programs.. and old games from steam and downloaded Adobe Photoshop, AfterEffects. I use Advance system care too.. It offered me to use Malware fighter so I downloaded it... that day I didn't try to play CF but day later (patch day) THIS problem has started. It's like I press the START Button and as u said CF tab has disapeared and nothing happens! my thead http://forum.z8games.com/showthread.php?t=243525

It's really confusing.. I can't even finish the Gauntlet ribbon (200 kills more).

i uninstalled crossfire and deleted c:user/crossfire folder and reinstalled and deleetd crossfire from control panel. re down loaded it, reinstalled and its patchin so looks good to go again

lol iv deleted every folder corresponding with crossfire, re-installed 5 times, changed everything that all GM's have provided. deleted every "supposed" program that would conflict this xfire engine or whatever problem is going around and i have not seen any approved progress in fixing this solution, iv read posts that say this "problem" is fixed and i really don't think much is being resolved. when i post anything about this all i get is responses to wait, well iv waited for about 3 days, how long of a wait should this really take?

The new Zombie Mode Client Error problem is fixed, but the problem with windows 8 is still alive and not solved yet. Please be patient...

I dont know what you mean exactly! At this moment has the Game a lot of problems!
