Cheating in Cross fire
As everyone knows...Crossfire is an extremely popular hacking game. It seems like pretty much every game u begin ends up with a chammer in it.
Instead of making it extremely difficult on the players who do not cheat by asking them to save a game, pics, write a PM, etc etc, is it that hard just to prevent cheating? The guys developing the hacks can write code to get in, can you not buy/write code to keep them from injecting their code in?
You could even go online and buy their hacks to see how they do it.
Nothing worse than a game or tournament getting ruined by some idiot who rather cheat and go 20-1 while chamming the entire time. Oh and the most popular cheats are not super obvious, but cham, have a few iffy rounds and post 25-8 just to squeeze out an MVP.
Stop these cheaters or this game will lose customers fast.

hacker are sad people, and sad people stay inside all day because they have no firends,, what else are they going to do? other than code D3D DLL's and play world of warcraft..
Z8 does its best.. and every F2P FPS has the same problem.. look at SF or CA or AC or OP7 or etc -
lol dude..yur just a noob who thinks every1 hacks cuz they pwn yu...i hardly ever play with hackers now..the biggest hack i have seen in this game ever since the end of suba and the very beginning of z8 was chams and wallhack..aimbot and all that has been dealt with as far as i know..probably some hacks that yu have to pay for has aimbot..but a lot of people dont pay for hacks..so yea..aimbot is alrdy pretty much crossed off..biggest hacks in this game that are a lot of problem is chams and wallhack..fullbright too..it sucks to have those guys in ghost mode

hmm.... i been knifed 23 times in a row in less than 3 seconds beacuse a vip hack other than that wall hakers still pwn them so no worries about them aimbots kinda **** me off but i deal with them later [report them][lol] just stop crying... z8games is doing is best to update

I hate to burst bubbles, but i have been around since the begining, I am very far from a noob, and all this "Pro" talk makes me sick. It is used like that means u have special powers or something...Sounds like another hacker excuse to me. It seems the most common answer for chamming these days, "Ya noob I'm Pro".
I am just under 2:1 over the long term, so I know exactly what I am doing and exactly what I am seeing. Also I have a ping of under 40, so there is no chance of lag.
There has to be a better method than whats used currently.
I would wager a guess and say between 8-15% of people playing this game (regular day to day players) have some kind of cheat. Most simply have a cham or are able to see location of other players. I have no doubt. That number is WAYYY too high!
All I want is a hacker free environment, is that too much to ask? -
We all want this to be a hacker free environment. You're kidding yourself if you think otherwise.
I'm not sure the percentage is even that high.
Also, there ARE a lot of very skilled players who get called hackers no matter what. I wish we'd stop using the word "pro" as well, myself, but that's what most people use as the short word for "Skilled player." -

i think its cause u suck at crossfire...outa every 10ppl with ace about maybe 3 hack...go play combat arms if u think crossfire is bad with hackers... -

I kinda agree with some people that you just suck. And I'm not even sure the "hacker percentage" is that high. Oh and if you're really not a noob, then show us your character profile. And don't search for some high leveled pro and claim it as your account. -
where do the people play who says there arent many hackers in the game? you ever play on BL side in ghost mode? Then you'll see how many blatent hackers there are and there are lots.
Bullsh*t does it take a long time to create antihacks, i've played plenty of games that have brilliant antihack systems and get updated VERY regularly and combats so many of the new hacks within days. It's just z8 cant be arsed to do the work. -

Let's get one thing straight; If you're suggesting people should go play combat arms then you are r.e.t.a.r.d.e.d. First off anyone can say that about any problem anyone has ever had with a game ever; "leave and go play something else" That's your argument and a bad one tbh. That's not opening up much options for the community, The one you want to grow with people that are intune with the competitive side (it seems all you would rather do is pub and show off ranks then talk down on people).
Now onto the cheating problem; My experience with gameguard has been less than optimal. It's get bugged after every patch and you have to lurk the technical support section in order to find a way to fix the game. One thing for sure is that you can't rely solely on ACS, demo reviewal is the only solution, However that gameguard is such a joke that you can inject .dll files undetected. I also think being able to make multiple accounts without an IP ban has a huge part in this. -
I' don't think suba and z8 spend too much in eliminating hacks... Some hacks like wallhack are only debugging tools. So why they leave this tools in the clients?... It was the same for XM8 and glock before they put them out.... Why leave weapons in the clients that are not yet in the game?.....

the hack protection vs hack injection is as old as the body armor vs bullet fight.... it will be never ending, whenever they make a better shield the hack makes a better prog... whenever they make new body armor they make ammo to defeat it... its about trying to stay ahead of the fight is all.

Cheating broblem is a big problem! z8 must do something with it. GMs visiting rooms, or better h4ck defender. or make replay recording for example, to report h4ckers. because our replays are so bad, that u cant understand who kill this player, from where and how (hs or shot in legs XD)
