Easy idea to implant

How about letting us choose what mode to put in maps? How fun would it be for lost relics to be a TDM or Laboratory. Lost relics is a good map for TDM

Just throwing this idea out there since this idea is simple and I've seen tons of FPS games with this.

but it would be only able to play TDM on all maps!

Spawn points are WAAYYY too close in lost relics to make it a brilliant TDM map, BL side would heavily outweigh the GR side even if you changed the BL spawn point to B site.
Same would go for Hakenkreuz, however lab + metro would make good TDM maps.
