I'm new to the FPS situation
So after quitting runescape "boooo" but yes I did play it for 3 years. I looked for new games, and I was tired of RPG's so the first game I remembered playing that was a FPS was crossfire, so I stayed with it.
But I'm still not adapted to the FPS situation, how come on forums and such I always hear about people switching games? I don't really get it, why don't people stick with 1 game?Is this how the FPS thing goes? You play for sometime then leave?
I'm just curious

It's cuz some FPS games offer different things.
Combat Arms offers customizable weapons but they are all for renting only.
Operation 7 offers more customization but the game play is different than CA or CF
Soldier Front has a completely different feel than the games above.
There are other games but those are the ones i've played so far. -
You might get bored after a while, quit and come back. That stuff is always there for when you decide to return to Crossfire. You rank, your items, GP, ZP ... friends maybe not but they're still on your list.MysteryPerson wrote: »what about friends, rank, money, stuff you bought with real money
Another new FPS may come out while you're playing, with FPS's you tend to want to try whatever else is out there. Don't bother uninstalling. -
you play til you find a better fps, that's how fps goes, in RPG if you switch you gotta start all over again, but in a FPS the only thing you need is skill, so switching don't really matter.MysteryPerson wrote: »So after quitting runescape "boooo" but yes I did play it for 3 years.
