cant get on

hi! umm you know when you hit "start game" it comes up with the n prtect game gaurd ect ect? well after that ur screen is medium size then it goes full screen to load up...but in medium it stops and stays black..is anyone els having this truble? havent played for a week due to it....oy im board!
