My mouse wheel is extremely loose, every once in a while, it does some unnecessary weapon switch that makes me die... any tips on disabling it?

Otherwise i hope crossfire can come up a way to manually disable that control overall

it switches when not touching it? id say shove folded paper on the side, so it sticks, and make sure you can still right/left click. or try to tape it to the right click so it doesnt move. both ideas are off the top of my head and may not work.

best idea is to buy a new mouse

yes buy a cheap mouse with a working scroll, you need one to play, by that i mean scroll

I had this same problem, almost.

All I did was take some scotch tape, and tape it up tightly. Or, if that bothers you, put water-refly glue in the creases of the wheel.

When you want the glue out, you can a tiny drop of water to set it loose, and it stays that way.
