So you're getting a no-name error? Did you try what the OP did? If it doesn't work, you can reverse it by pressing enable all instead. Also, it looks like what you and the OP has in common is BitDefender. Maybe that's causing it. Try disabling/uninstalling BitDefender.

The clean boot? No, not yet.

First of all, get rid of BitDefender. Download MSE or Avira to replace it.

Close down all the ASUS processes. Theyre not needed.

    Acrotray
    AI Suite II
    AiChargerPlus
    AlertHelper
    EPUHelper
    TurboVHelp

Close down all tablet processes. Might be conflicting with Crossfire.

    So that would be

    BambooDock
    Input Personalization Helper
    All the "Pen_Tablet..." exe's
Basically anything beginning with Tablet aswell.

If that doesnt work then we can assume it isnt a conflicting program.

Thanks Giggle (glad to see I'm still on your friends' list btw ^^ - though I doubt you even remember me, haha). I used AI Suite II to OC my CPU, so I'm not sure about closing that (it also monitors all the temperatures, etc and other details). But I'll close all others. And will do the tablet ones. But when I first installed it, it worked fine. It was right after the ribbon update a few weeks ago that I couldn't play any more.

I reckon it's conflicting with BitDefender and so I will uninstall that and see what happens.

I'll try all suggestions this weekend, when I have a bit of time on my hands and let you know then.
  • I vagually remember some match with you.

Anyway it would be fine to close. In fact the overclocking may be causing instability.

Well it was probably almost two years ago, so I'd be surprised if you did :p (btw it was EE and you had just become a mod [I think!] and nicely defended me from being kicked)
  • And I decided, although I wouldn't have time to try all the other things, I could at least uninstall BitDefender and see if that makes a change. And it did! It now works. I only tried entering one game before going back to studying, so I can't guarantee that it has completely fixed the problem. But I'll play a match before I sleep and report back. Installing MSE as a replacement for BitDefender as we speak.

Oh right yeah I remember this
  • I try to make a new account ..but when i make there is no problem ..i can still play with that new account!! there is no ip blocked in italy ^^,
  • Hey all, I just wanted to confirm that my problem was BitDefender, and that since replacing it with MSE things are working just fine now :)

P.S. Thanks to all who helped!

Can you screenshot your process list as well?

And drop the details of your PC here.

OS, CPU, RAM, video card etc.
