Corrupt File Closing Game

Today I switched from Windows 7 to Windows XP to get a better FPS from my computer. But the thing is now I'm getting a corrupt file file closing game error. I've uninstalled the program and I've also deleted the CF directorys. Any tips?

Did you use the old installer from Windows 7 copied onto a USB or did you download a new installer?
