Can't play anymore with my z8 account

I created an account on CF EU on 2009 and I stopped playing about a year ago. Now that gamerage's been taken over EU, I can no longer play with my old account, as I can't login with it, and I'm forced to create a new account from scratch.

I mean, what's going on? Even though Crossfire EU has changed from z8games to gamerage I should be able to keep playing with my old account.

How can I login again using my old account and keep leveling from where I left my character?

EDIT: Maybe the reason why I can't play is because I no longer had the z8 EU version and I had to download the new gamerage EU. Do old z8 EU players play now on gamerage, or do they still have the old client? And if so, how can I download it?

If you created your account in 2009 then you are definitely still able to play this version. Implying you didn't get banned for w/e reason of course.

No, I've never been banned, so that cannot be the problem.

Your Z8 and Gamerage accounts are two different things. Two different companies running it and basically two different games.

Just so u know, CFEU and CFZ8 are 2 different CFs, u cannot use login info from CFZ8 to play CFEU.

Then how can I login on CFEU (Which must be the EU version of CFZ8), I can't download any other game version aside from gamerage's, and downloading the NA version would be silly, since the IP restrictions wouldn't let me play there.

You create and use a Gamerage account. You can't transfer your account from Z8 to Gamerage, the games are different.

[solved]

The issue's now solved. I was trying to log in gamerage's client with my old account. All I needed to do is download the z8games eu client and everything works fine now.
