Compatibility for Windows 8
I just purchased a tablet and was looking forward to testing out what games i could play on it, cross fire of course being one, the tablet runs on a standard form of windows 8 which i am aware that there is no compatibility for yet with crossfire, but i should be able to run it as if i was using windows 7 through compatibility modes, but i can still not do this, i would like to know if there is a loop hole in this or if not, when will this game be made compatible for windows 8. there are 3 versions of windows 8, these are:- Windows 8: This is the basic edition like windows 7 starter or home basic.
- Windows 8 pro: same as above but with more features added, as Windows 7 Starter and Windows Ultimate, it's an example "these are very different for more added features." this remains as windows 7 professional and / or ultimate.
- Windows 8 RT: these are used in tablets Pcs and are based in ARM architecture, this is only for tablets and/or mobiles that are compatible with windows 8 RT and ARM-Based.
you can not run Cross Fire in Windows 8 RT. SORRY.

Windows RT: basically to surf in Internet, watch videos and listen to music, edit documents using Word, Excel and PowerPoint, OneNote notes manage, and install applications from the Windows Store (only from there, unless they are devices for use in business) . Being clear, always, that we can not install non-Modern UI applications, or make use of advanced features. The price of these devices will be less.
Windows 8: everything you can do in Windows RT, plus previous application installation (which will work in classic desktop). In the Pro edition, meanwhile, we can make use of features that "are not for the general public" as BitLocker, the group policy management, the ability to boot from a VHD file, Hyper-V or on domains. In addition, Windows Media Center, apparently, only available for Windows 8 Pro (and as a separate download).
