Crossfire not responding!?!??!

Hello, I have been trying so hard to log into crossfire but it wont let me, when I open up crossfire it plays the music and the login comes up but when i try to type my username or password it wont do anything.I tryed to click exit and it wont work, I opened up task manager and it said crossfire is not responding.... Im running windows 7 and i meet the requirements for crossfire... Last year I played crossfire.. now it doesnt work! Please help me this is my favorite game in the world, i have payed for it! If you can help me it would mean the world to me! thanks!
