did i get baned?

i opened crossfire at my friends house then i downloded the patch got to log page and it closed and xfire poped up.. close it by accident so didnt read it now when i run that hgw patcher or what ever i get a error, saying can not find 'msvcp80.ddl'.please,re-install this application. ? did i get baned or is this a error cause i never do anything wrong or mess with files
