Yes it is a known issue. At this time there is no viable solution as the devs are still working on it.
You can try to submit a support ticket to Technical Support with the correct IGNs and profile links to ask them to try to manually remove it, but I'm not too certain that they can or will.
I'm sorry that it isn't much to go on.
