Yes it will be fixed, it's being worked on.
Why would you betray your "friend" this way? If you were a good friend you would let him keep his ribbon and not complain about it at all.

We're having an issue with the system always giving out this particular ribbon.

We corrected the problem, but there are still jobs in the system that are giving the ribbon away.

We have to wait until these jobs are finished, then correct the mistake and eliminate future queries from giving out false ribbons.

This really isn't a huge deal and should be corrected soon enough. We've been manually correcting accounts, but are not prepared to call it "fixed" right now after discovering this new information.
