Was that clan really low ranked? Say your clan is in top 100 and you playa clan thats ranked 20000, your clan will still lose 1-2 cp even if you win because of the ranking system.

In this particular case the clan was over 30,000 ranks in difference. So it's on the very extreme of distances between clan ranks.

The system is designed to encourage players who have been together longer and who have more skill to play against other clans who have been together and have more skill.

You were "expected" to win this match. And if that clan is active enough, they will surpass that 30,000 rank difference pretty swiftly and if you beat them again when they are closer, you will likely make up the clan points and more.
