Anti-spawn killing thing?

So I joined a game of Lab with my friend. And apparently I tanked a full clip to the head, then regenerated my health. I did not see the replay but that is what he told me what happened. Is it a glitch with my account? Or my connection? What could it be?

Comments

  • U didn't regenerate ur health, pay no mind.

    prime example of "QQ"

    I hope so.
  • nub hac, get a life!

Life you say? As I recall you respawn every time you die in gm. (unless if the game is over)
Hac you say? No man, just some tritons, working ears, and a perm axe.

I am not sure if it was a fail. I spawned in and he was aiming straight at me. But yeah I wont put much thought into it.

Your opponent can not see your health. So the claim of regeneration is false. Now for not dying after a full clip: It is typical for laggy network connections. If you have too high lag (even momentary), your opponent will see blood and will see you shaking after getting hit. But your HP won't be affected.

Another scenario: You rush an kill your opponent. If you were lagging, your opponent will think he shot you first. But this nub game wont register it, if you killed him first "on your client".

(You need to know how network games work to know this better. You and other players never share the same "reality". The game just gives you an illusion of "reality". But actually every player gets their own view that is at least slightly different from what others see/experience. People with low ping wont experience this. But when people lag, you will notice this fast. This is why people with low ping always own (and get kicked). This is also the reason why you should kick any one who has more than 280-300 ping.)

Also, depending up on the options you choose while making the room, you wont get hit for first few seconds once you enter the game. during that time you will be blinking with red shade. If your friend shot you during that time, its natural that you took no damage.

I understand what you are trying to say, but I saw the replay. And I was not flashing red, nor did my ping spike. I was thinking that it might be a glitch relating to the "help" menu that pops up every time I join a game. (Too lazy to get rid of it)
