i just bought a new laptop installed cf and ervything runs smoothly but nothing pops up after xtrapis done could this be due to windows 8 or not?

Xtrap doesn't work with Windows 8.

Well i dont get an xtrap error and even when i run it on windows 7 compatability it does not work any ideas?

There isn't a patch for Windows 8 yet. Xtrap isn't compatible, and wont work correctly.

When a patch is released (probably in the next 2-3 patches), it will be announced.

Also, compatibility options aren't very good with multiplayer games.

There is no official ETA on when Xtrap will be compatible with full releases of Windows 8. Sorry.
