Connecting game room (please wait)

So I boot up crossfire, and all seems to be working fine, but whenever i join any room, the "connecting game room (please wait)" loading screen pops up as normally. Doesn't seem too bad, right? Well I'm stuck there. I'm stuck at that loading screen until i close crossfire. What can I do to fix this?
