i got the same problem and i decided to quit until they fix it

lucky atleast u can log in, i get to login screen and it says failed to connect to server. Guess wait till they do something

that isnt internet problem. cuz im using fios too and i still failed to connect host server.

It is not just you, I think its Verizon's fault if you use their internet service. My friend and I both use Verizon internet service, and are getting host errors in game today, along with other people who use it when we asked around. People using other internet providers should be fine in connecting to crossfire servers. I'm just staying off crossfire until this is fixed.

I am having the same problem and I also using Verizon Internet.

Error messages galore

Well I am coming from another forum to see if this lines up with my error messages and it does... I am not getting a host error like you guys are, but I am getting a series of numbers 255220-3 and then being disconnected from the game. I too am using FioS high-speed internet with 100Mbps connection. I don't think it has to do with the service provider though. I could be wrong, but that doesnt seem likely.

- I am now getting a combination of different errors, including host errors and Hack Tool errors when I have never used a hack in my life. I quite dispise them...

In response to my original quote, I realized that it might not be the internet provider that causes the problem, but seemed to give you the error more often. I think the people who get this error play in Alpha server. I went to Bravo and UK servers and see if that was the problem. I played there for a good hour or so, and didn't get that error. I think everyone who is getting that problem should avoid Alpha server for the time being. I get about 20 ping more than usual on Bravo, but it'll have to do.

why havent a gm or mod gotten on this issue yet?it seems it started happening after the us server got taken down and alot of people are experiencing this annoying issue including myself.

You have your system set up again (re-install) had the same problem 2 months, after I get WIndows 7, it's gone gewessen
