Any word can be said , but it depends on how and to whom you are saying it and in what context that word is being employed.
example : If I say to a friend " hey , son of B.... come meet me tonight , I invite you for a nice diner . There will be 2 nice girls with us " He will not see any offense in it .
But if I call that same friend and that he owe me some money and I would say '" Hey , son of B...... when do you intend to give me back my money ?" I don`t think he will like it .

"Flippin" isn't in any way offensive. It's a word us British chaps occasionally use when we're not too busy admiring our stiff upper lips
