Is CF compatible w/ Windows 8

Windows 8 has already been officially released and I've already seen threads about people asking if CF is compatible. However, some people say it works fine for them while others say it isn't working properly. Is there some version of Windows 8 that works and something that doesn't? Because I'd appreciate any info so I can decide whether or not to purchase a computer with Windows 8 OS.
